Do you love to see me cry, as you hear me scream?

Do you wait to see my tears, is that what you dream?

Do you breathe in my agony, does my pain comfort you?

In my sadness do you laugh, they all say it is true,

Do you swim in the blood I shed, is that your smile I see?

If this is what makes you happy, I empty all of me.

You are my laughter, you are my pain

When I see you smile, I feel sane

You are the thorns, you are the rose

When I saw you first, I knew the path I chose

You are my road less travelled, you are my highway

I wait for you, for that something you say

You are my darkness, you are my tears

Why can't I let go of the one my heart fears?

You ripped my heart, my life you lit

An obsession it was, now just a habit.

She stands on the mountain, her eyes looking down,

Wind pushing her to the edge, she doesn't frown,

She sees her distorted reflection in the ocean below,

Turns around at the world that fails to see her glow,

One step closer to the place she rests in peace forever,

Away from here, away from him, thoughts make her shiver,

Closes her eyes, he is all that she can see,

She takes a step ahead, to reach that somewhere she longs to be।

Why do you wake up every morning?

To wander under these city lights,

Only to sleep with our sadness at nights,

Why do you seek pain in pleasure?

To hide from yourself, scared to be happy,

Pain is a part of you, illusion can it be?

Why do you love him till you rest in peace?

You see love in his hatered, as you wake up each day,

You bleed from within, "I hate you" he says,

He smiles at your tears,

Laughs at your darkest fears,

You wake up every morning , breathing hard,

Under these city lights, your tears you guard।

I look at these people, so petty, so plastic,

hey talk to each other like hollow vacuum sticks,

The smiles they wear, happiness can it be?

When tears roll down their face, is it sadness you see?

The laugh and play when their heart bleeds,

When you look into their eyes, do you see what it reads?

They hold you when you fall, they fight all your fears,

Do you believe what they say, what your heart hears?

They don't know themselves, they don't know you,

They life you high, let you go, the someone you always thought you knew.

Her laughs echo her innocence,

The way she hopped and played across the fence,
He jumped into her life, she dove too deep,

She drowned in his arms, she had forgotten to weep,

He took her hand, they ran far,
She gave up everything, he healed her scar,

Now she lay shattered, her innocence he stole,

Betrayal is all she can sense now, engulfing her soul.

She looks out of the window, she smiles,

The breeze blowing on her face, she ran a thousand miles,

She smiles to herself again, feeling the devouring pain,

She still sits here , watching the stubborn rain,

It doesn't wash away the blood that stains her hand,

She thinks of you, your blood she holds, leaving you under the sand.
